"Oldest manufacturer in Minnesota"
Founded in 1869, Saint Paul Brass was originally located on the banks of the
Mississippi River, operating as a primitive foundry and black smith operation.
In 1928, Saint Paul Brass was purchased by Eugene Ryan, who operated the business as a
proprietorship until November of 1946 when Saint Paul Brass become incorporated with
Eugene Ryan as President and Frank Ryan as Vice President and General Manager.
Under the guidance of Eugene, Frank and Johanna Ryan, St. Paul Brass grew from a small
six man shop in the late 1920s to a multimillion operation - nationally recognized
for its technological advancement and the quality of its non-ferrous cast products.
Saint Paul Brass & Aluminum continues to operate today as Minnesotas oldest
manufacturing facility under the guidance of Frank and Johannas children,
specializing in top quality brass & aluminum sand castings, whose uses range from
impellers to pump housings, from structural to decorative, from one to ten thousand, from
ounces to tons. Saint Paul Brass & Aluminum is the one foundry for all of your
non-ferrous casting needs.
